RIP Beatie and Trickle.

Today was the first time that I’ve done this professionally.

When planting an Oak tree I was asked to put the ashes of two lovely dogs under it.
Beatie and Trickle.
Something else that T.V. Gardeners don`t do.

  1. Oh, App'y! Big HUG! What a nice gesture. I always thought it would be nice to let go of my late pup, Aslan. He was a 13 year old Doberman who passed 10 years ago now. He's in an urn on my desk where I type this comment. I guess I still can't let go.

    1. I have all my late pets in my garden at home.

  2. I think it's a lovely way to honor the memory of old dog friends (and humans, too) and the idea that something new grows from death is soothing. :)

    1. I have `done` that garden for a few years and I knew both of the dogs. Trickle passed last year and Beatie about 4 years ago.
